From Hartford, take 91 South, for about 20 miles.  When you get to Meriden take exit 17 this is Rt. 15 South.  That exit will also be the exit for East Main Street, Meriden.  When you are on 15 South, you will go for about 3.5 miles.  You will go down a long hill and at the bottom of it will be exit 66.  Get off there.  At end of ramp, take a right.  This is Rt. 5, North Colony Road.

At the second light take a left (this should be about a half mile away).  You will be curving left.  Then at the stop sign, take another left.  You will see and go under an old brown stone arched bridge.  It is only one lane of traffic at a time.  Just after the bridge, you will take a right onto Old Colony Road, this is also Rt. 71.  Go up about a half mile and we are on the left.

From New Haven, Take 91 North, to exit 15, about 15 miles.  That is the Rt. 68 Yalesville exit.  Take Left off ramp, going west on Rt. 68.  From here it is ten lights then take a right.  But since you can loose count, just head west for a few miles until you get to the bottom of a long hill.  At the bottom of the hill is a light (it intersects North Main Street Extension, three more lights to go after this).  You will go strait at this light.  The next light is a few hundred feet in front of you.  Go strait.  You will pass over the Rt.5 overpass.  The next light is soon after this.  Go strait again, and you will immediately pass under Rt. 15 (a high way) overpass.  At the next light is the intersection of Rt.68 and Rt. 150.  Take a right.  Less than half a mile up the road will be the next street on the left.  This is Rt. 71.  It is just before the brownstone arch train overpass (a marvelous work of engineering). Take this left.  We are about a half a mile up the road on the left.
